Sharper discount codes: caps, first-time deals, and bulk codes
Discount codes are one of the simplest ways to reward a loyal attendee, fill an underbooked class, or track how well a partnership is working. This update gives you a lot more control over how a code behaves and a much clearer picture of what it's actually doing for your business.
Make a code truly single-use
Turning on Single-use locks a code to exactly one redemption. It's the right setting whenever you're handing a code to one specific person — a raffle winner, a VIP invite, a customer service save — and want to be sure it can't be reused even if it gets passed along or posted somewhere it shouldn't be.
Cap how many items a code discounts
Some orders include more than one priced item, like several pricing options or multiple tickets in one checkout. The new "Limit to First N Items" setting lets you cap a code to a set number of those items instead of the whole order, so a code meant for one seat doesn't accidentally discount an entire group booking.
Apply a code during manual registration
Discount codes aren't only for the public checkout page anymore. When you register someone yourself — a walk-in, a phone sign-up, or anyone you're adding directly — you can now apply the same discount code and see the discounted amount before you send a payment link or mark them paid.
Target first-time customers only
A code can now be restricted to people who haven't purchased from you before. That makes it easy to run a "new customer" promotion without worrying that existing attendees will also redeem it, and it works whether the code is used at checkout or during manual registration.
Generate a batch of codes at once
Instead of creating codes one at a time, use Bulk generate to produce a whole batch that share a prefix, discount amount, and terms. It's a fast way to prepare unique codes for an event handout, a partner promotion, or an influencer campaign, where each recipient needs their own code.
See performance without digging in
Every code in your list now shows its redemption count and total savings right there, so you can tell what's working at a glance instead of opening each code individually. Click into any code for the full history of who used it and on which class.
Get a heads-up before a code expires
If an active code is a few days from its expiration date, you'll now get an in-app alert — and an email, if you have those notifications turned on — so you can extend it, let it run its course on purpose, or wind down a promotion cleanly instead of finding out it lapsed after the fact.
