Find people who started signing up but didn't finish
Not everyone who starts signing up finishes. Some stop right after entering their name and email; others get as far as the payment page. Both groups live in one place — Payments → Cart (also the Abandoned Sign-ups page) — split into two stages so you always know how far someone got. They never appear on your Attendees page, because they hold no seat and were never charged.
See who stopped at contact info
- Open Payments from your dashboard sidebar and click the Cart tab. (The same list is on the Abandoned Sign-ups page.)
- The Stopped at contact info section lists people who entered their name and email on your public sign-up page but never continued to payment. You'll see their name, email, the class, and how long ago they stopped.
- They hold no seat and were never charged, so they don't appear on your Attendees page. These rows clear automatically after 48 hours.
- Click Send nudge to email them a link to pick up where they left off. Once sent, the row shows a Nudge sent badge; you can send again if you like. Nudges are manual — there's no automatic email for this stage.
See who stopped at payment
- On the same Cart tab, the Stopped at payment section lists people who reached the checkout page (a Stripe or Square session was started) but didn't complete it.
- Each row shows how their automatic recovery emails went: about 1 hour and 24 hours after they left, we send a reminder with a link back to checkout. Badges show sent, queued, skipped, or failed, and Recovered once they finish.
- Recovery emails run on every plan. Viewing this list, its recovery statistics, and previewing the reminder emails is part of Plus — on other plans the section shows an upgrade prompt while the contact-info section above stays available.
What the labels mean
- Didn't finish signing up — someone who started but never completed checkout. They aren't a registration and hold no seat.
- Unpaid — a real, confirmed registration (a walk-in you added, or a pay-later seat) that still owes money. These stay on your Attendees page with Copy payment link and Mark as paid actions.
- Neither of these is shown as "Pending" any more, so a row without an amount always tells you exactly what happened.
