Deliver digital files to attendees
Just need the quick answer?
See the short version in the FAQDigital file delivery lets you include PDFs, recipe cards, templates, pattern files, or any download as part of a class. Once you attach a file, every attendee who books gets access automatically — no emailing attachments, no Dropbox links to manage. They find everything in their attendee portal, ready to download any time.
Upload a file to your library
- Open Content from your dashboard and choose File library.
- Click Upload file and select the file from your device. PDFs, images, and common document formats are all supported.
- Give the file a clear name — attendees will see this name in their portal.
- Click Save. The file is now stored in your library and ready to attach to any class.
Attach a file to a class
- Open the class from your dashboard and click Edit.
- Scroll to the Files & downloads section and click Add file to send.
- Choose a file from your library, or upload a new one.
- Choose when to send it — select Day after class for a post-class handout, recipe, or photo download.
- Classy sends a separate email with a secure download link. It is not added as a traditional attachment to your thank-you email.
How attendees download their files
- Attendees receive a separate email notification when the file is scheduled to be available.
- They can also log in to the attendee portal at any time and open the class to find all attached files.
- Each file has a Download button. Files stay accessible even after the class date has passed.
What you can share
- PDFs are perfect for recipes, patterns, instructions, or reference sheets.
- Images work well for inspiration boards, technique diagrams, or photo sets.
- Zip files let you bundle multiple items — for example, a font pack, a Photoshop template, and a usage guide — into a single download.
- One file can be attached to many classes. Update it once in the library and the new version is available everywhere instantly.
